Hello friends of the interwebbings =) I'm looking for a Sega Candy Cab (pref 1 player 6 button) near Sacramento, CA. Highest priority is monitor doesn't have burn in and in decent shape. Thank you!

Take a trip to Rosemead and visit KC? If you’re ok cleaning the cab up he would have the most selection. But he sells volume so it’s not like he cleans it before he sells it. If you bring a pcb and the cabs are where they can be powered he might turn them on, otherwise you will have to look for burn with them powered off.

L A game sale

Heya Ekorz, yep I've spoken with KC. I might end up going that route but just wanted to see if anything is already up in my area first. =)

It's not sega... but I have a korean candy cab that I would consider selling. I'm in SF.

It's a crowin case 203. 29" monitor. I believe it's a Samsung tube and an Orion chassis if memory serves? Monitor not burn!

No worries if your heart is set on SEGA, but if you want it let me know.

Haha cleaning up the inside is a chore, wear a dust mask or something. He’s just driving it up personally for you I assume? I trust that more than freight delivery.

Thx for the tip about the dust mask, I'll tell the wife j/k haha

I think he has a driver, sounds like I'm one of a handful of orders in Norcal so I think he waits until he meets a certain number then sends his driver (I'm guessing).

Right on, someone gave me a good tip and that was to pickup a cheap jamma pcb on ebay to test it when he gets to my house..

definitely wise to have a cheap jamma test pcb!

congrats man, i'm a huge SEGA fanboy! I love my NAC, even though it's a frankensteined beater...

If any of you have a cheap pcb you want to sell me which you can ship right away, let me know, or I'll just find something ebay.

Look how useful this all is, don't be silly and ask for your thread to be deleted, keep the record alive, but also the conversation.

Yeah, there’s probably a 95% chance your mame pc and mister will work fine. Could always just pick up more tools to test if it doesn’t work.

Another guy just got a nac and works fine with the jpac but left with questions on the nnc since it isn’t working. I’m sure you saw that thread and comfortable with the small risk you are taking.

Right on, I build my MiSTer I/O boards, purposely didn't even solder the pin that carries +5V or +3.3V to VGA pin 9, already tested on 15khz consumer TV. Appreciate it Thomas!

Whatever you get as a test PCB, it is very handy if you can output both a color bar gradient and a white crosshatch pattern. one is for adjusting the color to look right, the other is adjusting the overall geometry. CPS2 has a great one, but it's not a very handy test pcb as it's relatively expensive, big, loud, and power hungry.

@digitron - I'd get one of those "50 in 1" Jamma boards off Amazon for a test PCB. If it dies, at least it can be replaced easily. Save the Neo Geo!
