Unable to upgrade net dimm firmware from 3.12 to 3.17, 4.01 or 4.02

I have 3.12 Naomi Net Dimm. Tried upgrading and got errors or not a valid bin file. I’ve tried on both naomi 1 and 2 boards. I can run naomi 1 games on both systems, but can’t run VF4FT.

Setup: Naomi 2 - I have a working netdimm battery which I’ve removed. I also have 1024mb (1gb) of memory installed in the unit. I’m using an atx power supply to jvs adapter that @Mitsurugi-w created for me.

Bump. If this is a common issue, please let me know.

your DIMM board probable is not in fully working condition. that error screen likely caused by bad flash ROM.

@MetalliC that might be it. i'm assuming the rom will need to be removed via unsolder, correct? If that's the case, where can I find a new rom with 4.02?
