I spent a couple years building a nice emulation setup, but I guess the itch hasn't been scratched. I figure... why not take the plunge into hardware? This rabbit hole seems rather deep, but thankfully this community seems full of extremely talented, creative, and helpful people. I'm planning to start with supergun + multi-cart platforms like ST-V, CPS2, MVS (...thanks Darksoft!). Eventually I'll dig out my Namco guns w/solenoids and get a gun-game setup, too.

I've been building wood controllers for a couple years, for my emulation setup, either with Xbox wireless internals or PS360+'s / Brooks UFB's. I'll probably convert a few for these projects, or just make some new ones. Here's a pic of one of my Bolivian rosewood sticks:

Welcom!

Cool! I can't say I'm very good at any of these games, I just like playing them and learning new things along the way. As my family life allows I intend to get out a bit and meet the community, so please keep me posted. I'll certainly be doing some work at Artisan's Asylum as well.

Welcome!

If you are still doing controllers, make a post with some of your work, would love to see what you have done.
