Disliked a complement huh? Okay.
I am very suspicious against you...I dont know if it's ironic for make some trouble or a real complement...too many trouble with you in the past always criticed my price...If you check I never add comment in your topics or answer except of course when you spoke about me. This is the minimal maniere for good ambiance.

Nice to know that I got a place to live rent free inside your head, but seriously dude, I was merely complementing the board. These are my favorite MVS. Want proof? The board pictured on Lions3 website is actually mine; I loaned it to him four years ago so he could make it for me. Anyway, have a nice day 👍

Curious as to why this is your favorite version. Not to hijack the thread.
Front loading, stereo sound, headphone connector (I can connect to a handmade tube amp my dad made with it), controller ports, and lots of working space. I also kind of dig the volume slider over the pot as it reminds me of an AES. Most importantly, it has never given me a single problem in the seven years I’ve owned it.

Here’s a cool chart showing some differences on one slots:

Maybe I am too paranoiac...

Dont forget Unibios on socket. Note that missing one thing for perfection, memory card support, soon avallable NeoGeoFanClub promised a solution something like for mv1c I assume.
Maybe you can help me, do you find a solution for battery on socket chargable?

Forgot about the UNIBIOS being crazy easy to install. I'm actually not sure about the battery. I've never messed with it; maybe I should look into it next time I go back home (my board is in storage). You are right though, no memory card support is the only thing keeping this board from being perfect. Would be awesome to save my game on my AES here in Japan and then continue on the MVS in America lol.

Unfortanelly it'will not like a classic memory card, it would be a chip on MB:

Better than no memory card at all I suppose. I guess I will have to keep dreaming then. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a four-slot candy cab with a working memory card slot at a game center here one day and can finally test this feature out...but I doubt it lol.

@Joko3 you can get a repro memory card slot and cable I believe you can connect to your motherboard.

No kidding? Oh man, sounds like I got a project next time I go home if it's possible to connect it.

Edit: after looking at it I think this may only work on the boards that supported the memory card like the 2,4,6 slot ones. It's a shame the proposed solution for the 1 slot isn't using the removable memory cards. I think switching from AES to MVS is probably a feature few people would use, but there's no denying that it would be cool. I imagine there are a few guys on this forum who have a candy cab in their basement with an MVS inside, and then an AES console upstairs in the living room. I picture a scenario in which one is playing Neo Turf Masters upstairs, and then their kids want to watch Frozen for the fifteenth time this week, so then they simply continue their game down in the basement on their cabinet. Super niche, but hell that's everything in this hobby.

I believe it’s possible to connect to the 1F/FS board
