Greetings to everyone!

I am a beginner in the world of Arcade, I want to ask you for help.
I got my hands on a bad PCB the DGB part was torn off when I got it. I was able to solder it back. I plugged in the Jamma connector and saw a blue picture. I noticed something was very hot One was the TMM2063AP-70. I ordered (I was able to get a used part) 3pcs. After that I noticed that the 4 pieces of TMM2063AP-70 on the other part are also heating up the same way. I ordered 9 more. As it arrived I exchanged them as well. None of them warmed up after that. This is the picture now.
What do you suggest I should do to get the PCB up and running?

Thanks in advance for the help !!!!!

Robert!

Good job on replacing those SRAM chips - I've had a few of those TMM2063AP-70 chips fail myself.

I suggest removing the EPROM and ROM chips, dumping them, and comparing the checksums of the dumped files against MAME to be sure that none of them have corrupted data. You can use an EPROM programmer to dump the chips and to reprogram fresh EPROMs if need be.

Thanks for the advice!

Where can I find the MAME file?

You can get a list of the checksums on each file by going here and clicking on "Show Romset Files".

World version
http://adb.arcadeitalia.net/dettaglio_mame.php?game_name=cadash

Focus on the files labeled as "maincpu", "subcpu" and "audiocpu".

If you need the checksums for a different region, click on "More Titles" next to "Driver Source". It looks like Cadash has 10 different releases, so you may have to compare a few to get yours narrowed down.

I got stuck a little.

I read EPROM CHEKSUM, read all EPROMs flawlessly, but none match any downloaded MAME content.
The German version is most similar to it because of the name of the flie. Can you give me advice on what to do?
German ver 10 eprom checksum : 00378B41

Without looking i'd say this one has been plugged in backwards and the IOC is toast. Biggest problem on taito :(

Can you go in the trash?
No way, too good :D

IOC is common on taito pcb's but very often dead.
Don't forget that it's also my guess, maybe something else and the IOC is good...

If you are 100% stuck you are welcome to send it to me for fault finding but can't guarantee anything <chips burning out is never good>.

I don't know the antecedents of taito.
arrived in a pack of 30 pcs. i feel like there are already people who have reviewed them and didn't make the repair .... so there's a chance it was connected the other way around
I would be happy if the PCB was repaired. I see it would cost me a lot to send it to you for repair.

Some bootlegs can be good...

Yes, your version of cadash is the "1st German" version only the newer version was secure.
The new mame will be out in around 1 weeks time :)
