Netboot with Triforce : Communication Error

Hi guys,


I have a problem with netboot with my Triforce Type 3.
I have put the two jumper on ON : check!
I put my net zeropic : check. (my zero pic is totally functionnal with my Naomi, so I guess it's good)
I plug in my crossover cable : check.
SoI think I follow the procedure as explained here https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/updating-a-triforce-type-3-to-use-cf-cards-tutorial.18576/

The problem is that when I enter in network config to change the IP adress, it gives me "communication error".
I have tried with PC and raspberry and nothing helps.

Any tips? Maybe the dimm of triforce is faulty?

It's definitely some issue with the system itself, likely the media board. You could try the age old 'pull everything apart and put back together again' to see if it some bad contact between the stack

You don't have another Type 3?

Thanks for your return, indeed it would be a good thing to clean and reconnect all parts. I've only one triforce so I can't swap elements.

Indeed it was the communication pcb, i’ve buy a new one and everything is fine now
