PSU on NAC questions

I have a lead on a NAC with a MS8 where the seller claim bad juice from the PSU especially with CAVE PCBs (I'm going to use it with CAVE PCBs). Is this a general issue with NACs or can I simply replace the caps of the PSU PCB and be on my merry way?

Ok, the seller clarified it's an issue with the NAC "Y" PSU and the CV1K boards, not the 1st gen boards which are more within my budget.

The Cave boards don't put enough load on the PSU for it to work properly.

You can replace the PSU or you can add additional load to it with resistors.
