APOCALYPSE Sega System 18 Official Sales and Wait List

Now we will be battling the supply chain the same as everyone else but we are confident we can fulfill the demand for this kit. We originally wanted to have the bulk of this multi sold in a big batch but the situation won't allow that. We will do small batches as the parts come in. The great news is we already have enough of the 512MB flashes that we think we need to fulfill demand. The other flash will be sourced from various sources as needed.

The pice for this multi will be $275 plus shipping.

Mitsu, I'll take one but wouldn't hold my breath for Clockwork Aquario. Some company will sooner or later come crying with a C&D letter. I preordered the console version anyway but would be even nicer to play it on the actual arcade board.

I take it the Switch version isn't using an original ROM/dump packed inside an emulator like the SF collection did for SF3?
 
For the record we aren't holding our breath. We just happen to have one unused slot we can fill in the future. I've already shipped three Special Edition kits. They should be arriving today or tomorrow.

Regular edition kits will ship later this month.

Special Editions? I read all the posts but didn't find anything about the Special Edition, maybe I missed it.

Special Editions are basically the final proto with a special color for the pcb and modules. The main pcb ended up being the final design but the modules had one small hand fix done that we corrected for the normal editions. The design and color of the SE modules came from a software glitch on the end of the pcb maker that we found humorous and decided to use for something unique. Since the SE units are limited to less than 10 units we made a list consisting of friends, valued customers, and vip forum members and randomized who we offer them to. So far I've sent out 3 offers. 2 were accepted so far. The maximum will be seven if I can get all 10 to work because one unit each is for Apocalypse and me and one unit WILL BE RAFFLED OFF FOR CHARITY SOON.

So keep checking for info about the raffle. I'll make a new thread and link to it here once it's ready.

Hopefully the members who receive their SE multis will post some videos. :)

Ah, very cool, I'm ok with the normal version, just thought the special version maybe came with flyers and a Sega PCB arcade box repro , just kidding :)
