Hey guys,

Recently got my first supergun and I'm looking to replace a joystick in it. I have never owned anything with Seimitsu sticks in it before and I can see there are a bunch of different models of the LS-32, like LS-32-01 and LS-32-02 looking here, there are a lot of variants: https://www.akishop.jp/33-joysticks.

This is the model supergun I have: http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?t=19677 and here is a pic of mine: http://imgur.com/a/tTnBM

Could anyone here please help me identify what the part number I need?

Thanks :)

That's a regular LS-32 (without the -01 suffix). The one in the Arcade Otaku link has been mounted with a SS mounting plate. So the stick you want is the LS-32-SS.

However, in your pic it looks like it doesn't have a mounting plate at all? Does it have fixing screws on the other side?

It's an LS-32. The mounting plate doesn't matter as it fixes to the top of the LS-32 with four screws so you can remove the mounting plate from your old sticks and swap it over - but it looks like an LS-32-SS.

Pana/Sigma use the same stick in their SG's but fit them without the mounting plate - the mounting screws go directly into the stick body.

You could also go for the LS-32-SS-SC (which has a plastic shaft cover) or the LS-38 which has a stiffer spring.

Doesn't look like Akishop sell the LS-32 without a mounting plate.

Definitely has a mounting plate, you can see it in this picture: http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/ad190/Paulie11111/Paulies Arcade/VEGA9000DXIN6.jpg

Thanks for that! LS-32-SS it is.

So where is the plate in this pic?
I assumed it was just the angle from where I took the pic of mine but after opening it up again yeah it's mounted straight on there. You can just remove the plate if you don't need it though right?

Yep. You just screw into the stick itself, using the holes that the mounting plate would have used.
