Hello,

Is it possible to use a MS829 chassis with a tube that it has been used with a MS9-29 chassis? The tube is a A68KJU96X (5G).

Thanks!

Yeah should be possible. You’ll have to swap the yoke connectors to attach to the MS8.
MS9’s and MS8’s have different connectors.
If you have the yoke from an MS8 tube, you could do an easy swap and not have to worry about adapting the connectors.

You will also probably have width problems as the yokes are not quite the same, you may find you cannot shrink the horizontal width enough for some pcb’s.

Both the MS8 and MS9 use the same tube so yes it will work, but you're going to need the MS8 yoke for the horizontal adjustment to work properly. Plus the connectors are different on the MS8 and MS9 yokes.
