Hi all,

solitary collector for the past 25 years, I'm coming back to civilisation. :)
I've started collecting consoles in the mid 90s and moved to arcades a decade or so later.

NZ is a great place to find cabinets, since most of them, if not chopped, are still in the country after so many years. Where would they go anyway?
But the community is rather small and not very active.

Welcome fellow kiwi! You’re right about the community here in NZ being tiny. Lots of activity on here tho!

@hatmoose what activity? I'm not too much into VS fighting and I believe there's a special place in Hell for those who do LCD "upgrades". What's left for me?

Haha, sorry, was not clear - by "on here" I meant here on arcade-projects. In NZ there is not much. Totally agree on the LCD thing - although a nice Viewlix would find a happy home in my collection :-)

Welcome to the group.. I know of one other NZ'er in this hobby, but my brother lives down in Taranaki

There are a few, but there doesn't seem to be any kind of events, get togethers, etc.
Truth is our country is bigger than people think, and even on the same island you can be 7/8h away from someone else.
