New project to showcase! Here is my standalone Naomi Monkey Ball controller :thumbup:

Inspiration for this was of course the @XeD & @Mirko repro bananas and a pair of IKEA kitchen organizers:

Artwork was adapted by gstick_art (Instagram) and rear-printed on plexiglass by Olly of arcadeartshop.com - I can recommend both of their services!

I can also thank @skate323k137 for the Sega IO and @nem for the JST connectors - cheers guys!

I cut up a USB 3.0 cable in order to repin the USB 2.0 wires to JVS, and repurpose the additional USB 3.0 wiring for +5v power to the IO.

Now all I need to do is practice not sucking at Monkey Ball... Thanks for reading and thanks again @XeD & @Mirko !
 
This is amazing work, very well done!

On a side note, I can't wait to hear your stories about people coming to your house and seeing a banana-shaped apparatus in a box without the context of an arcade cabinet attached to it :D
