Doners would make it a conversion. This still has protection chip and mask roms, hence warranting the more premium price tag.

Original would probably set you back over 1k these days so yeah. Its perfect for someone that wants original but don't mind eprom labels. Namco system 1 labels arent that hard to print. Its just standard fonts and square paper labels. Not like Capcom paper coated silver paper. Anyway dont want to spam your thread. GLWTS

No, no, what I meant is you can still use that boardset for the Namco System 1 multi and that amongst all the System 1 games there are cheaper options if you just want to install the multi.

I see Pacmania going for ~400€ so this Dragon Spirit isn't too bad of a deal.

It looks like all of the Fujitsu maskroms are suffering from the classic corrosion issue which is most likely why some were replaced with EPROMs. It's common for the super corroded chips to have legs fall off. This one looks particularly bad. Even the 136 custom, the chip that makes this "legit" has corroded pretty badly. I would say this price is more than fair for the condition of the chips. Pristine Dragon Spirits go for over 1k on Yahoo Japan.

It's worth noting you can just bypass the "legit" chip with a diode. It's not anything fancy and if rust took it out, it's not an issue.

I thought that diode was for namco system 2? You dont need anything to bypass system 1 security except to patch the roms.
