Also, France is a stunningly beautiful place and my interactions with people in Paris, Nice, Avignon, Marseille, etc. over many trips were all very pleasant. Never copped a haircut though ;)

BTW, I do agree about the beauty of the country. And most people are kind and friendly. Actually, I went to do market shopping to the 17th Arrondissement in Paris and some sellers asked me where I was from. As soon as they heard Costa Rica, they started to ask me about the places where the bananas and pineapples are cultivated, haha.

Unfortunately, every country (city?) has people who don’t like “outsiders”. There are plenty of picky barbershops in my city. I wouldn’t take it personally nor would I hold it against the country.

Because in all french supermarket, pineapples comes from Costa Rica :D

People who have issue with others over pure nationality is ridiculous. I don't care where you're from if you're cool, you're cool. If you're an asshole well then you're an asshole and thats why I don't like you. I grew up in new york and have lived in florida for a while now and its a huge cultural difference down here. I had to get used to the different prejudices of the south vs the north. But what really irks me is the mindset against anyone foreign. Like what the hell, I'm American yeah, but my bloodline comes from southern Italy and France. I think people forget whats so cool about what other cultures can offer. They can take their closed minds and shove it up their asses.

Mine was 195€ plus shipping (which was another 35€ to USA). Chip pricing and inventory is still in flux though, so don’t be surprised if the price changes over time.
