This MB is in waaaay better condition than the $40-50 ones you'll find on Alibaba or eBay, so please nobody try to make a comparison to talk down the price (you know who you are...dickhead). Also, unlike the Alibaba and eBay sellers, I don't think Ryan is going to ship your package wrapped only in foam and clear tape (i.e. no box). Great price for a clean board, cart, extra vinyl labels, AND shipping in my opinion
Hmmm....I mean it's worth a shot. Not sure of the proper way to ask though. "Please disregard all protection for my package. A couple of layers of thin foam and the cheapest packing tape you can find should do just fine" (aka, the Baba Special pack job).
In all seriousness though, I think the cheap motherboards from China are giving people an unrealistic expectation of what these should cost. They cost around 20,000 yen from PCB shops here in Japan; Surugaya charges 19000 for example (https://www.suruga-ya.jp/product/detail/180000638?tenpo_cd=400331). I purchased three of those Alibaba boards back in 2021 because they were so cheap, and well.....you get what you pay for. All three were from different sellers and all were shipped to me the same way: foam and tape only, no box. All three were cosmetically in very rough shape. One needed a sound pot, and one required you to re-insert the cart a million times before it would work. The third one worked just fine and just had cosmetic issues. So 1 out of 3 worked reliably, all three were ugly, and all of them were shipped poorly. I don't recommend it. It's much better to buy a clean one like this right off the bat.
