I did some FPC conversion work at JLC, which can convert the S29GL128N into a ROM that can be used for the 8132 cartridge.

Welding can be quite troublesome, but they work we

There is also a transfer board, which is used for 64m chip to 27c322, it can call up the Turtledove text menu.

In Guangdong, China, there were some owners who had a lot of naomi's broken or unbought cartridging, and I helped them convert it to another best-selling game. I get some renovation costs to help my family.

Generally, the 8131b cassette has a very high failure rate.

So I got this Ikaruga Cart in the other day
Does it look like something you worked on?
Grabbed it off Ebay close to a month ago

Yeah, I made this card. Guangdong bosses actually sold abroad.

8132b can change the same game as 7919.

How can I sell cartridges from China to the United States?

Questions regarding the Ikaruga Cart
IC 1 to 4 show that its bad but I assume that's normal?
Also Game Test Mode is not accessible. That due to it being a conversion?

If your a member of the forum here there is the option to post up items for sale
Also there's Ebay as well

So long as you have a method of receiving payment like an account with Paypal

I'd be interested in knowing what other carts you have available for the NAOMI too :D

There was a rom made with working checksums and test menu but the gatekeepers aren't releasing it. There's even a guide on here how to do the conversion yourself, don't ask me why they made a guide if they don't want the rom out there. :hilarious:

You shouldn't use a 3.3V device on 5V busses without level shifters.
Also I see the footprint for 2 diodes, assuming to lower +5V to ~+3.3V and power the chip, a LDO would be better.

As for IKARUGA, I didn't get the rom with the correct checksum text mode either, but it was fine and didn't interfere with the game experience.

The problem of diode step-down is actually acceptable, after all, it is cheap and convenient.

The games that 8132b can transform are: ikaruga
Crazy Taxi MVC2 capcom vs snk 2 Zero Gunner 2 Private Justice Academy and more.

With the diode step down method could that run any potential risk to parts failing?

If you were to offer these carts for sale how much would the going price be?

Yes, diodes will not protect overcurrent if the flash fails and develops a short, which is possible given all its address and control lines are receiving 5V signals instead of 3.3V.
Might work for a month, a year or more in home use but I wouldn't risk my Naomi motherboard.
Look at all those CPS1 14-in-1 multis, they worked fine for a couple of years, today look how many have failed flashes (for the exact reason mentioned above).

Ask the pros, @Darksoft puts level shifters everywhere in his designs.

I think I read something similar with those CAVE PGM Carts as well
They will eventually fail apparently =O

In fact, this board will not be used on the cassette, this is just my own to verify that the ic22 that the socket can actually address 64m address.
In most cases, it is only used with the original 27c322.
