System 2X6 Collection

Unless I'm mistaken, you should be able to get it from Archive.org again.

Which tool I can use to write HDD image , for example, Cobra to physical HDD(IDE)?

Actually, I have legit Cobra HDD and its dongle, but when I tested sd2psx COH dongle files, I might have mistakenly chosen other version, and as a result, my legit HDD looks locked. I wanted to restore it from the back up image.

I was trying to Lufus but it showed error for the img file - "format is not supported".
And I am thinking Windows DD - http://www.chrysocome.net/dd, (I am connecting IDE HDD via USB).

Any proven approach to restore the HDD img?

Harddrives will not stop working from using wrong dongles.

After I faced the following error during sd2psx dongle test which I have never experienced before.

I happened to find the following article.

Even my case did not allow to skip the error message to proceed.

This error is also happening with legit combination (hdd, dongle) since the sd2psx dongle test.

Just in case, cobra has two versions.
And I must have tested inconsistent versions of hdd and dongle.

So I was doubting my hdd is locked caused by inconsistent version combination.

I find it more likely that the system settings stored on the motherboard are somehow now incorrect, and that is stopping it from booting. As far as I know nothing is written on the HDD, so you cannot brick it.

Try booting a completely different game in between. That will initialize the settings.

Also, if you're going to image the Mame chd on a drive, do it on a different drive, not the original drive. Your original drive could contain a different version.

Understood.

Thanks for kind advice.

I will check initialization idea later.

I am currently restoring hdd from one nice guy's dump for the cobra. :)

Most dumps are from my personal collection (there are a few contributions), and represent actual verified dumps.
some of the CD isos here are corrupt. rtw and I have gone through the set and fixed from the original dumps. I wanted to PM you about this but apparently your account doesn't accept PMs. you can message me for more details.

Hi!

Does anyone have the ISO for the game Smash Court Pro? The ISO on archives.org won't boot. It keeps loading and then goes black.

Thank you!

for reference these the CD ISOs that are good vs the corrupt ones:

for anyone using this set I'd recommend for games marked in red above you use the existing MAME CHD set until defor updates the set on Archive.org

Oh my!!! Sorry, I think my account was accidentally restricted when I changed the email address- I just found out today when trying to reply…
My account should be fixed now—— please let me know what seems corrupt and I can dump again and verify!!!

I had heard rumblings of this but this seems really odd unless something happened during the compression process.
