Stuck Start button input

On my Super Neo 29 the P2 start button is stuck in the on position. I’ve unhooked the button and the wire in the control panel but that didn’t turn the input off. From what I can tell, there doesn’t seem to be damage on the loom.

Any ideas of what else I should try?

It’s a one slot with the Darksoft multi cart. But I had the same issue when I plugged in my cps2 (which I won’t do again anytime soon because I learned about the speaker pinout issue).

Which model of 1-slot board is it? An MV1C or something else? The hardware is different.

I just checked. It’s an MV1C

There is a short to ground somewhere, check the JST conector on p1 side.
