Hello everyone!
I’ve been following this forum for a long time, and I thought it was finally time to introduce myself.

My name is Superget, and I’ve always been passionate about game centers, arcades, and videogames. Living as a permanent resident in Japan, I’ve built up a large personal collection over the years. Along the way, I’ve also helped friends buy collectibles from Japan — from games and figures to antiques and even katana.

I’m writing this post because I’ve decided to officially launch a professional proxy service. I personally handle every order and customer — no middlemen involved. I can also help track down specific items on request. My service fee is a percentage of the item’s price and size, and I ship using EMS or Yamato, depending on your preference.

If you’re looking for a reliable contact in Japan to help you get games, merch, or limited releases, feel free to DM me for details!

Looking forward to working
with you!

Sounds good! I Have been buying lots of PCB's from japan and china at the moment for dumping. Very often there is issues on the regular services (battery , "keywords" in title etc)
If you do a good job it will be popular, we did have @Joko3 before but he had moved back to the USA.

It's sad that your thread got corrupted by this nonsense (a guy already in japan that does not require this service)....

Will get in touch if anything is required! Thanks :)

Contact me if you want any advice on how to run this successfully as I did for several years. Just to be upfront though, it’s often times a thankless job. You can go above and beyond for people, and once it’s their turn to return a favor they are often nowhere to be found. Once you start shipping enough volume, strange stuff WILL start happening, so I hope your spoken Japanese is up to par when dealing with customer service at Yamato. A lot of claims process must be done on the phone. Considering you have a PR though I’m assuming this shouldn’t be an issue, but we’ve all met THOSE guys lol.

All of that being said, best of luck to you. My inbox is open if you ever want to talk. I may be coming back in the near future if you are looking to truly expand.

Hi Jojo, that's nice from you. I will contact you, if it is the case.
Thanks!

Nice.
Can you also consolidate packag
s from buyee or others as well ?

Thank you

I am honestly unsure why you would do this.

From a cost perspective, this seems like a waste of money. You're paying Buyee's purchase fees, and then you're paying to ship them to someone else in Japan, and Buyee charges you 10% to ship within Japan because they're no longer able to claim the tax credit from shipping it overseas. And now you're paying for yet another person to consolidate and ship them to you.

It would be better to simply purchase through this person directly, or use another proxy that isn't absolutely awful at package consolidation (i.e., literally anyone else). Also worth pointing out many proxies now charge a 0% service fee since they're pocketing the 10% consumption tax when they do the purchase for you.

Storage is the answer. Lots of customers did just this with me. I was NOT willing to hold onto customers merchandise for three months at a time while they kept shopping; however, Buyee was. When the customer was ready they would ship three months worth of stuff to me. I would consolidate it into a package AT LEAST 50% smaller than what Buyee sent to my apartment resulting in much cheaper shipping costs. Even combined with the Buyer fees, people often saved money by going through me.

See pics for an example. Switch and dog for reference lol.

@Darksoft @Mitsurugi-w

Can we look into @gamenwatch seemingly serial downvoting of random posts? Hung out with this guy in Yokohama and Tokyo on three separate occasions and thought we were cool, but apparently not 🤷‍♂️ . I was going to just leave it be, but he’s making a habit of it.

@msamiullah

Hi, Msamiullah.
The fees apply to each single purchase.
If three items are sold at once, it will be a sigle purchase, and I will apply a single fee on the total price.
The case is different if I have to process multiple acquisitions. In that case, I will apply a fee for each one.
As a rule of thumb, a fee per price tag.
Thank you for asking.

Be very carefull when buying expensive games on Mercari!

Looks like there is some new scam targeting Proxy users:

Low rating sellers list expensive items for very cheap (fe Magical Pop´n SFC for 400 Euros) and use pictures of real items.
Maybe its one seller with multiple accounts or a few different people sharing pictures / taking different ones every time.
If a local falls for this trap, they simply refund the game (or cancel the deal) and relist it. If a big Proxy buys, they ship out repros and the buyer is f*cked...
Impossible to return anything after it arrived in the destination country and the Proxy itself cannot help or spot fakes.

This is very very scary, watch your purchases!
Not sure but i think someone also did this already with Famicom Recca <X

I bought one of these. I knew it was a fake one. I would not buy a real one complet anyway. It is well done. The pcb is an official Nintendo but from 1992 and not 1990 like in the official one. They took the pcb from another but real game so basically it s a conversion. I have also the real one but only the cartridge to compare. They are no using picture of the real item but usually the put only 3 pictures of the game. If we are talking about the same forgers. The box is really similar to a real sfc game. Even the cartboard surface.

I noticed some differences for the staples from the manual are strange not like in a real sfc game. Also there are some cuts inside the box that doesn’t existe in a real one
