The 5261 you sold works fine with Cave PCBs. It’s known some Astro PSU won’t play certain games. I just can’t remember if it’s this one or another one. Anyone know as I need one.

the "plain silver metallic" one is the one that has problems with cv1000 only : PSU 400-5198

Pretty sure the "incompatibility with CAVE PCBs" is just astro PSUs with a dead -5v. Replace or upgrade the transistor at IC3 with a 78L05 and it springs to life. Never seen this model of PSU, GLWS
