Hi. I'm trying to repair a suicided Super Pang board. After installing Kabuki openkey, the game boots saying "RAM OK", but doesn't pass from there.

The next message should be showing must be "8MHz original board", but won't happen. All the CPU roms and Kabuki activity continue. The Kabuki doesn't enter in HALT or WAIT mode (this last one is working good).

I ask if somebody have find this issue in another board, and has any clue of where to look.

You obtain the same behaviour if you install 27C010 (JEDEC) ROMs instead of 27C1000 (non JEDEC) and you didn't change the jumpers.
But assuming you've only installed the Infinikey and left the original ROMs in place then your issue must be something else.

Yeah, that's what you say. I have the jumper distribution for using 2x27c1001, so is something else.

I have a board that does this as well.
Previous owner has desucided it but also replaced the Kabuki with a standard Z80.
