Yes, DX is also planned, and some early progress has been made. With regard to rapid fire on C, I've made an update to v1.13 that now supports that feature. Have not tested it on PCB yet, give it a try and let me know if it works.

From what I remember, it does actually use the arcade difficulty DIP switches, but the effect on the game's difficulty is negligible.
