It's doing this inside the cabinet (with various boards) and outside on my test bench. On my test bench I have a resistor connected directly to serve as a load so it's not a wiring issue. This PSU was having the same issue before capping it. Was hoping it would solve it but it did not.
I'm working on a 400-5261 power supply from a Sega Astro City. The 5V can be adjusted above 5V with no load but under load it won't go any higher than around 3.5 to 4V. I have replaced all caps other than the filter cap (tests fine). Anyone have any experience with this PSU or any pointers?
I have a pair of ID3 as well and I would love to do the same. Did you need any other hardware other than the PC, LCD's and FFB pro boards? I'm mainly looking to run arcade racers and newer ID games.
