I have done this and yes the pin goes low when I press start so time to find a new C1. Hijacking over.

Actually looking at your photo it seems that it didn't do the Z80 testing so yeah you may not have a diag cart.

I had a similar issue when I installed PCBs to consolize my MV1FZ, check the connections between the PROG slot on the cartridge connector and the CN2 connector on the main board. You wouldn't get errors in the diag rom because it doesn't run any tests that far up UNLESS you have a diag cart also.

Can you enable auto-generated English subtitles on the video? Can you run alternate diagnostics? It looks like you are running the same tests as the diag ROM anyway?

Jumping on this thread but I think I have a semi-failed NEO-C1, specifically P1 START pin 69 gets pulled low when I press start but I get no response from the MV1FZ. All other buttons works, is there any other way I can confirm I have a fault with NEO-C1?
