First of all, how did you even come across this in the first place? The build that you are using is coming from Franco and the rest of the team, and it's not meant to be released to the public yet. And that's not to mention the many games/dumps that you are running on this emulator are coming...
Please stop asking for Namco System 357/369 games. There are already dumps for these games online. If you cannot use Google or any other search engine to search for these dumps, then it just goes to show how lazy you are. The dumps that are released are also not gonna allow you run the games as...
FYI, System 357 and 369 units are becoming more expensive, and rarer to come by, as well as the games that come with the system.
So the fact that some people are working on an emulator for these systems will allow us to play these games without having to spend a single penny really does show...
This is not an emulator that has been released to the public yet, so you are wrong in that statement.
The emulator is still in it's early stages of development, and will be released once it has been tested thoroughly. Please be a little bit more respectful to the team who are working on this...
Hey guys. I'm posting on behalf of @Franco23444
Basically what happened is that someone (possibly on the development team or the testers of the 357 emulation?) posted a leak on emuline of one of the 357 game dumps. As you can see in the attachments, it's Deadstorm Pirates.
Because of this...
Thanks for the advice @l_oliveira
The problem is that I don't think there is any DVD drive that is installed on the Namco System 246 that will run or move forever. Eventually, it will fail, and this is because there are moving parts inside the drive that cannot keep up with whatever game is...
Ironically my other DVD drive which is intermittent is also a LiteOn DVD drive so I'm not sure why the Lite-On DH-16D2P will not boot up Tekken 4.
Maybe it's due to ATAPI compatibility.
I wouldn't really want to purchase a separate revision of the 246 just to play Tekken 4 on the LiteOn DVD drive.
I have a SM-M1802 which came with the Tekken 4 PCB (which sadly has died), and another DVD drive (which is intermittent so I think that's reaching the end of its life cycle) and both...
I can confirm that the Lite-On DH-16D2P will boot up Soul Calibur 2 and Soul Calibur 3, but it will not proceed to launch Tekken 4.
This was tested on a Namco System 246 revision B.
Hello @PascalP
I'm new here so it's a pleasure to speak to you for the first time ☺️
If you still have the Tekken 6 HDD + Dongle for sale for €90, I am very interested in buying it from you.
Please let me know if you still have them in your possession.
Many thanks.
Kind regards,
