Actualy ST-V have 2 "region" software region and hardware region. The ONLY game that care about hardware region is Sport Fishing 2. There is a Input port on the smpc that read the HW region (have a look at OLD mame stv.cpp IIRC I called it FAKE or region), right now there is a "hack" in the rom...

Got it working (well for a day... now the lindbergh have problem) The problem was on the 12V rail as suspected. I changed the follow caps C834 1000uF C839 10uF C438 470uF C409 470uF

Thanks man, I'm not a fan of recap a monitor, I try to diagnose the problem... I have some ripple on +12V rail that change (getting bigger) when I enlarge the image Will check the solder joints too!!!

Will do!!! It's related to H size, If I reduce the size of the image the problem go away. I don't think I will have time to do some testing soon, but I will update this post for sure

Thanks, I've try to cool down some caps with "cooler spray" (I don't know the english name), but not on that caps, will try!!!

Tested with the real dongle and it didn't flash at all... will find someone to reball the CPU/GPU

Sorry it's Tekken Tag 2 Unlimited so it's a the slim PS3 (sysmtem 369) I thought all Tag 2 was on that system

Title say it all... I only get fan spinning, the PS3 fan start at low speed then go to full speed, no video on both vga or HDMI port The lower board seem working (some LED light up) No beep at all (IIRC I used to hear some king of beep just after powering the unit) Any idea? Thanks
