good news today. I pulled the NetDimm boards off again to look them over and everything looked fine. so I put them back on and nothing changed. I decided to swap the NetDimms for a last ditch effort. Powered them up and they linked together. I have no idea why it worked but, it did. Thanks...
Yes, i have the card readers and have tried booting them with the card readers plugged in and unplugged. I have also tried booting them with thd card readers on and off. Thanks for continuing to help!!
I will look into the gd-rom disc versions but, I have had both machines running separately. I have played on both sides when they are set up separately.
I have set the left cab to seat #1 and the right cab to seat#2 and i have also tried to reverse them.
When the right cab is seat#1 and the left cab is seat#2 it makes it to the “card r/w initializing...” screen, you can hear the car rev sound but, then jumps back to “searching network now”...
I swapped the optic cables and it never leaves “now checking network” screen. I know i had those correct per the manual.
I also was reading about people adjusting the power supplies so i tuned mine to exactly 3.3v, 5v and 12v. Unfortunately that didnt do anything either.
I will check voltages at that location just to be sure. I also swapped in a different power supply from my MvsC2 without any change.
I tried letting it sit for close to 30 minutes after it goes to the black screen.
Another bit of info i found while changing settings. If i set the right machine...
I checked the volts coming out of both power supplies. 12v was right on, 3.3v was reading 3.4v and 5v was at 5.1v on both machines.
I also installed a new set of digital optical/audio cables but still have the same result.
I have one. I will post in a few what the readings are.
Should i just check the voltages coming out of the power supply. Making sure i have 5v, 12v and 3.3v?
I pulled the Dimm boards off and reseated them and it did not change anything.
I noticed that after “checking network now” disappears if i remove one of the fiber optic cables it will reappear and it will go away when i plug the cable in.
Another thing i noticed... if i make the slave cabinet...
