Collection from Reading area. I have replaced mine with another monitor using @FrancoB 's mounting kit. Monitor exhibited FAN STOP error intermittently so may need to replace the fan. Does not include the black outer frame nor the front glass, just the monitor itself. Japanese power cable...

I spoke too soon, the new year has barely begun and back to FAN STOP on every power on. No damage, no gunk, everything firmly seated. These monitors are rendered junk because of this failsafe that seemingly can't be worked around.

Bumping this thread as it's the top entry in search results for this error and because I have something to contribute for any future people encountering it: When I first got my cab this year I would get this error maybe 1 in 5 times and power cycling or giving the back of the monitor a slap...

Hi @FrancoB - I just want to say thank you for documenting your restoration and mods in this thread. I bought a Dia Blue from Mo this year too and you've been somewhat of an inspiration. :) I've just ordered a 2L16B control panel from alberto and I am very much looking forward to having friends...
