    Namco 357/369 Multi??

Should be possible, it's something I considered as a 'bonus extra feature' but never got around to. For a specific machine though I'd need to pick one up to test compatibility on, so if anyone has another one for sale beyond @BladeZX's request I'd need that ;)

That might be it, just run screen /dev/ttyACM0 and hit enter and see ;) dmesg normally prints out things when Linux finds a standard USB class device. To answer the questions, USB0 is high speed indeed (480Mbps) and USB1 is full speed (12Mbps). SD is pretty fast but USB seemed to be faster, but...

Sorry for the late reply, it is!

    SYS2X6 USB Dongle -- System 246/256 Multi

It has no holes as it was originally designed to just sit in the IDE connector on a Konami 573, with a male connector (as per the photo from @twistedsymphony in the linked thread), but that was scrapped for the Namco support where that connector's tucked away in a separate part of the box. Some...

Yeah, I specifically avoided doing any business stuff on Facebook, what gave you that idea? :) (I did register a Tattiebogle page, but haven't done anything with it)

Apologies, I turned off the stock update form last night in preparation for restocking this morning, as the mail merge/etc. were all set up but scheduled to run this morning. That's because they're now in stock though!

The Crystalfontz I'm working with is model CFA633, though I will say I haven't finished the painful bit yet - instead of a standard USB serial interface, it has an FTDI chip which requires special non-standard drivers that aren't provided with the microcontroller's USB stack like the standard...

    ATAPI/IDE ODE Testing

I'm working on restocking early 2021, but the new board will need a new firmware due to a couple of circuit tweaks so I'm polishing that as well (also featuring screwholes and a better, non-fiddly card slot). With regards to multiple ISOs, it'll currently just use the first one it finds. You...

Yes, the hardware itself should be able to drive any USB2.0 device in host mode, though some will need external power (the Crystalfontz LCD I'm using to test is one such device, it's pretty power hungry. Thankfully, they seem to be aware of this and provide a separate power cable option).

There's currently no hardware buttons support, but I've been investigating the possibility of adding a driver into the firmware to support Crystalfontz LCDs. The idea being you could buy a standard USB LCD with buttons from them, and the PCB would automatically drive them with a menu allowing...

How did you try to contact me? I never saw any e-mail/etc. Either way, USB hot-swapping should work, but hasn't been heavily tested, so you may run into a few bugs. However, I can certainly take a look and try to address any such issues in the firmware update I plan to do at some point.

    JAMMA Remapper (& more)

Hey all, I've got a background project that's mostly just for personal use, as I'm not convinced it's that useful overall, but I thought I'd share anyway! Basically, it's a JAMMA USB I/O, which is hardly rare, but with some extra features: JAMMA input and JAMMA output, to allow mapping any...

Fusion360 definitely thinks those two parts are connected together, though it's certainly possible it's doing something weird (they were formed separately, then joined). I've attached a version where I've tried to make the top overlap the bottom in Fusion360 so it should be extra obvious to the...

    ATAPI/IDE ODE Testing

Sorry about that - not entirely sure what's happened. It was designed in Fusion 360 and I test-printed it on my printer (a Formlabs Form 2) which has its own weird software, but on my print those two bits are definitely connected together! I'll see what Fusion360 has to say about the model (e.g...
