    Analog Flightstick HOTAS control panel

Here is a video of the illuminated pushbuttons for Start and View, flashing during gameplay in Sega Strike Fighter. I think the blue flashing light is a bit distracting, don't you think? View: https://youtube.com/shorts/IHrtJSCBJR4?feature=share

    Analog Flightstick HOTAS control panel

Finally took time to get After Burner Climax running in the cab today, and man, what a blast it is  I really love that game from all my heart. Definitely one of the very top best arcade games ever, and Sega at it's finest ! And after all these years, I still manage to get some decent...

    Sonic the Fighters : Remix

Yeah, the story behind this game is very interesting. It was pretty badly received by the time of its release, mostly due to the gameplay feeling simplistic, and characters looking like a Model 1 game, despite being presented to the public the same year as Virtua Fighter 3. Few arcade release in...

    Sonic the Fighters : Remix

So I made this prototype JVS to ATX adapter, from leftover cables and a 5€ ATX extension from Amazon. It may reach final form someday if I get enough components to order to justify the shipping fees. But hey, it works, and now the 15A 400-5443-01 JVS PSU can power the Model 2. I kept the ATX...

    Sonic the Fighters : Remix

Thanks for the advice, I've swapped it as you said. 👍 I already have the 15A JVS PSU, I just need to get it wired to the Model2. For now it runs on an ATX PSU, with an ATX to JST-NH power harness. So I'll just need to make a JVS to ATX adapter. I have noted some slowdowns in game, when lots...

    Sonic the Fighters : Remix

So, if you're into Sonic rom hacking, you've probably heard about Sonic the Fighters : Remix. If not, TLDR it's a romhack by TDRR that unlocks all the characters hidden in the game code + other gaming stuff that makes the game a bit more tournament-ready. Read more about it here...

Ladies and Gentlemen, here are the files to 3D print the 30mm split arcade button I made. Hope you find it useful anyhow. Please take it as it is, I don't intend to work anymore on that design. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7021926

True flat bezel for Blast City

Hard to tell the chassis from a picture. From my experience, Blast monitors used to be replaced by Wei Ya chassis, I've seen that a lot, but never with a Toshiba PF. Toshiba chassis tend to have geometry deformation on the top of the picture on 15kHz, but not always with CPS2. Just fill that...

True flat bezel for Blast City

The River Service filler is just that, a filler. It fills the gap between monitor and bezel. It's not required to fit the monitor inside the cab. It's purely cosmetic. You can find other ways to fill the gap, like some sort of foam. Cutting an original NNC bezel seems rather extreme, and very...

Which of these is easiest to rotate?

I'm no Hercules, but I rotate the monitor of my NNC standing up alone, and it's heavier than the Blast City monitor. The weight alone is not the issue. The issue is the weight + lack of place for your hands + the very narrow space to manovre that will result in scratching your fingers or the...

Which of these is easiest to rotate?

Never tried, but my guess is, those handles still wouldn't make it as easy as rotating an Astro City monitor. Those D shaped holes are indeed a pain in the butt.

Which of these is easiest to rotate?

The Blast City manual features some accessories sold separately, including some big handles to screw on the monitor frame to help moving it. I've never seen them for real. But I've seen some home made ones for sale while ago on YAJ...

Should I paint the metal case ?

It's a convert that I will convert again. Not planning on selling it in a near future. Not planning on making extra money on it. Just want to know if I can make it look nicer.
