Analog Flightstick HOTAS panel : Star Wars edition

I'm using a WIP "PicoJVS" JVS to USB converter.

I've been able to use it well so far, with MAME, Teknoparrot, Model 2 and Model 3, even PS2 emulator. It works fine with Demul when playing Planet Harriers, but Star Wars Racer forces me to use XOutput.

And I believe XOutput is responsible for the controls crashing, since Planet Harriers works fine and it's basically the same panel with no XOutput.

I'll try with an A-Pac.

I am also using PicoJVS. Works great for Battle Pod. Have not tried it with others.
Thanks, dnt know much about JVS cabs, how can I connect these in JAMMA cab (NAC) ?

Jamma edge connector can't use analog controls. Game boards will require plugging analog controls on specific connectors depending on the game board.

If you only plan on using a PC, plugging the analog controls to an A-Pac USB board should work.

Although, I'm not sure a NAC base panel is deep enough to fit the Gundam sticks, and even if it is, I would not recommend doing it as the gameplay would put much physical constraints on a base panel known to be fragile, especially on the sides.

apparently sebulba is the better character for highscores though.

I mounted the stick extension at a friends arcade and it broke after heavy use. Have to check if I can make the design more stable for abuse.

I think that depends on the tracks, but yeah, I made best times on Expert with Sebulba. His acceleration makes him really more efficient than top Anakin's top speed.

Good to know about the stick extension, having a few spares for events may be a good idea.
