following these exact steps, when I plug my jumper back into the original spot, I get no fans spinning and it doesn't boot. I replaced the cpu and the battery. I'm not getting a beep code, so I doubt it's the ram. I'm having no luck at all.

So I ended up getting three carts. I got one labeled Ebisu Yoshikazu, one labelled Chicken Ramen, and one labelled Animal Prints or something. He did make me a deal on some of them due to them not having the one I originally ordered, so kudos to them :)

I don't think you can even find the ROMS for most of them. I know it runs off a modified board.

I'm 100% sure it's the GD-ROM. I swapped both it, and the power supply out just for testing and narrowed it down to the GD-ROM. Literally, the game will do nothing until you unplug the GD-ROM. Once you do, it fires right up. It seems to me like it must be shorting something out.
