Thanks @Sp33dFr34k! I wouldn't worry too much, as Death Crimson OX and Confidential Mission are still working ok.
I have my Naomi set to 15khz with a Capcom I/O so I didn't think HOTD2 would display in 31khz? I'll look into that though.
I updated to the latest firmware and it seems to work ok on my Naomi 1 with a Japanese H bios.
I added some more light gun games to my netboot setup but unfortunately these didn't work well.
HOTD2 displayed a dual screen for some reason. The Guncon 3 trigger was recognized but not the aiming...
Thanks for the extra info. I didn't realize Time Crisis 3 is a 246 exclusive!
I also have a 246C, so I'll try booting it again with that. I think that also displayed a black screen last time, but this may be due to using the ODE.
Guncon 3 works by connecting the Guncon USB to the P1 port and the LED markers USB to the P2 port. The calibration seems to work best on Death Crimson OX on the Naomi but I'm hoping the other games can be improved in future firmware updates.
Has anyone tested the Iona with any steering wheels...
As an update, Death Crimson OX seems to work the best with the Guncon 3 out of the Naomi games. This makes sense as the creator of the IONA mentions this on the GitHub page. The calibration is slightly off for Confidential Mission but hopefully this can be improved in a future update.
I managed...
Received my v2 board with USB-C and firmware 1.35 pre-installed. Thanks for the fast delivery and amazing packaging @djsheep!
Finally got round to testing and the Xbox One controller works great with it on the TTX. The Guncon 3 also works well on the Naomi.
I couldn't get Time Crisis 3 to boot...
I'm also using the interlace 15k mode with a Capcom I/O but TGM3 works fine for me, so it doesn't seem to be this. Could the sync still cause issues for different monitors maybe?
@rtw, the title of the message is 'YOKUSHIN.game.exe'. The message also mentions "0x0041c1a6" and "0x00000000".
I don't know what the rest of the message says as Google Translate won't work on my CRT :D
Thanks!
