Thoughts on the BackBit Platinum cartridge?

I'm looking forward to this cart. I made the dumb mistake of getting rid of my 161 right before they became basically unobtainable. Now all I can find is the v2 for like $200, and v3 are nowhere to be found. I really need to learn to just not let go of things in this hobby. I need a better...

    Homebrew and Independent Release Recommendations

The Demons of Asteborg DX release looks promising. I bought their Genesis game rom, and it feels really well put together. Also looking forward to Double Dragon One. Not that I have anything against PvP fighting games, but I was always a bit let down that it was the only Neo Geo Double Dragon game.

    DIY mahjong controller?

Looks like an awesome project. I still lament getting rid of my Neo Geo mahjong controller, and for way too cheap. They're prohibitively expensive now.

    Homebrew and Independent Release Recommendations

Really enjoying Vengeance Hunters. Just wonder what else is out there that you guys really like. Can be physical cart or rom. Also, are there any you'd recommend staying away from? Thanks.

    Darksoft Neo Multi Help thread

It happens right away from the boot screen. I'm on Unibios 4.0. Video Link - Main Menu

    Darksoft Neo Multi Help thread

Getting a strange flicker with my new cart on my MV1B board. (Couldn't get the cart to work in either slot on my MV2F) No flicker with original game carts. Video Link

    RT-65A for HAS 5.0

That looks real nice. Wish I had seen that earlier. I ordered some kind of 3D printed cover on Etsy already.

    RT-65A for HAS 5.0

Just tested everything with the HAS 5.0 and MV2F. Works perfect, no issues at all. Haven't messed around with the menu much yet other than adjusting the brightness (which is also seamless). The main reason I went with the RT-65A and not something more powerful was because I liked the small...

    RT-65A for HAS 5.0

So RT-65A just arrived, I hooked it up, checked voltage without load. +/-5V seem OK. 12V line gives 11.65V. Is that normal?

NG.DEV Team MVS Carts - 4-slot Issues (Solved)

Definitely a possibility. I'd be curious to know if OP is running Unibios. I know there's a bug where if running Unibios, sound will not work for carts plugged into slot 2/3/etc if there's not a cart installed in slot 1.

    Hello from Atlanta

All Neo Turf Masters all the time. Maybe some Metal Slug X, Double Dragon, Blues Journey. I'm an MVS convert after having AES for a while. That kind of opened up the arcade doors for me. Grew up on C64 games, PC games from Sierra, NES, Genesis, TG16. Only recently found out I could run Rastan...

    RT-65A for HAS 5.0

This was the lowest powered PSU recommended on the HAS website. Since I've been using a 12V 3A Triad Magnetics supply with an Aliexpress supergun to run a Neo Geo board and haven't had any issues, I figured the 65A should be sufficient. But then saw this post that said 130W...is there a reason a...

Interest Check - NEW MVS MULTI BATCH!!

Got my order in. Been hoping these would pop up again for at least a couple years now. Coincidentally, I made the switch from AES to MVS in that time, so works out well for me that MVS went up for sale. Really looking forward to it, and super glad Darksoft decided to make another batch.

    Home Arcade System

Had been waiting on the 4.2 to be restocked for a while now. Didn't even realize a 5.0 was coming, so when I saw it up for sale, I grabbed it quick. Been using one of the Aliexpress superguns for lack of anything else. Can't wait to try out the HAS.

    Hello from Atlanta

Most of my early memories of arcade games were the older kids never letting me play. Now I'm older, technology is better, and I can play them at home...so that's a life improvement.
