The HAS passes power directly from the PSU to the PCB game. Furthermore, the HAS's circuit is isolated from the +5V power rail with an eFuse (and a Schottky) so that short circuits or inductive voltage spikes on the controller or AV ports don't trip the PSU and reset the game. It's tough to say...
