DARKSOFT Darksoft's MultiAES. Latest Firmware, Menu and Instructions

As someone who owns a (non Neo-Geo) product from Terraonion, I can say with utter dedication, I won’t buy anything from them again - have you ever tried to get in touch with them, for anything, bloody nightmare. Personally, I think @Darksoft supports his products and his users far better and...

AES cart > MVS mode > Japanese mode > How to pause?

Well a lot of the options, level, blood, so on, for the games can be set in the Game Configuration in the Main Menu (after running the game once,) which you’ll already know because it’s hard to miss :D Other than that I’m not sure, I’d have to dig out my original bios so that the UniBIOS...

AES cart > MVS mode > Japanese mode > How to pause?

I’m sure if there’s a better way - one that doesn’t involve any work, then someone will let you know. I honestly don’t know if it’s possible or not, I wasn’t able to when I first got my cart. Since then, I’ve installed a UniBIOS and one of my favourite things about that is you can just hit...

DARKSOFT Darksoft's MultiAES. Latest Firmware, Menu and Instructions

I get 238 of 239 as well, I’m most curious as to what that elusive last game is :D

    UNI-BIOS 4.0 now free

Thank god, I’m not the only one who doesn’t really believe in “it’s not possible”, if I learned anything from my days as an engineer, it’s that few things actually aren’t possible in the end. The wife’s forever giving me grief when I go on a rant about something - which I invariably end up...

    UNI-BIOS 4.0 now free

The T56 would suit you better, it’s more versatile having, as the name suggests, 56 pins. It’s probably going to be my next purchase as an upgrade from the TL866. Although there are many adapters available which allow 42 (and more) pin programming on the TL866, without having to move the chip...

    UNI-BIOS 4.0 now free

Yeah, as nem mentioned, basically anything 40 pins or less, depending on which set you plump for you'll also get a handy set of adaptors as well, PLCC44 and so on. I've yet to have a bad word to say against it, considering the price of the thing.

The link has been a bit hit and miss the past couple of days, if you’re still having trouble let me know and I can give you a copy.

    UNI-BIOS 4.0 now free

I’ve usually got a few of those exact proms kicking about. Well, I have, so I gave one a go out of curiosity and had no problem burning the UnIBIOS rom first time. I’m only using one of the cheap and cheerful USB TL866II Plus programmers. Though I can’t complain about it, it’s served me well and...

Building the Worlds Newest Amiga - The A500++

It’s seriously tempting, in a, just because kind of way. It would give my new soldering station a good run in. But it’s definitely in the, why would I when I already have Amigas, other than for the fun of building it I suppose.

Noob with question on Memory Card preparation

I’m sorry no-one managed to answer your question in a timely manner, but it’s good that you’ve discovered the answer you needed by yourself. Indeed I find that to be the best way to learn. There are a lot of really nice people on this forum, and many who will help with all kinds of problems...

    Hey there!

Welcome aboard. I can relate to your position, I’ve been lurking around this forum for a long time. But only got around to joining at the tail end of 2018. I still don’t get to posting a much as I’d like to, life has a nasty way of eating up time. But I still try to get on and keep up to date...

    Howdy from a Dreamcast veteran

Hi there and welcome. I agree with some of the others, there’s a bit of DC dev influx going on - which can only be a good thing ;)

Hey, Neo Geo enthousiast from the Netherlands.

Welcome to the club :D I wholeheartedly agree with you, I miss the arcades, the atmosphere and the social aspects of it. But especially the classic SNK arcade games. Still, at least we have places like this, where we can at least get some degree of the social aspect. Even if it is just textual.
