@Semload I got my board and it is a work of art! I don’t need to post photos since they are already available, but let me tell you these babies are gorgeous! The amount of little details is neat. For example there are tiny magnets that hold the reversible cover in place. This case is so much...
I might have been a touch dramatic! I love your analogy of driving a classic car. That’s what we’re doing here. So cool. Yeah, let come what may- I’m driving an original PCB. 😎
Ok I think I’m getting it now. If I’m understanding properly, basically all games want to be at 5v. However once power is run through them, each board channels the power uniquely, thus the operator needing to dial up/down the voltage. Must be related to the efficiency/quality of components and...
Thank you. I’m seeing a trend here lol. The power supply I have has an adjustable 5v rail and the SG has a multimeter on it. The PSU’s dial is currently at 5.15v.
Does that mean I should turn it down to 5.0?
Hey Guys,
My SuperGun is arriving in a few days, and I can't wait to start playing these boards I've collected. I've seen in various threads the topic of proper voltage coming up again and again. Would you guys kindly fill me in for which voltage is best to set my SuperGun to for these...
Hello! I'm looking to pick this game up. Unless I'm wrong, there exists an American version. I don't know if any differences exist between the regions, but I prefer to collect American arcade boards. The title screen saying Irem America Corp. is the only indicator I know of.
Thanks!
Thanks for your tips. I’ve since worked out a heartier psu with an adjustable pot switch. This should make all the difference according to you folks here. I’m glad I reached out!
Thanks for answering me! Does it sound like my psu’s voltage is safe for most boards? I’m not sure it has selectable power, because it’s not an arcade psu. I think it may be a laptop one or similar.
Here’s a link to the supergun and power supply I’m getting. Time stamp 2:09

Hello. I'm a SuperGun beginner. The unit I'm buying has an upgraded power supply: This particular SuperGun's PSU can operate boards requiring +5 Volts @ 4A, +12 Volts @ 1A & -5V @ 500ma DC.
I'm seen where different PCBs require lower power or higher power depending. My question is how power...
