I believe it's possible to convert Konami GT to Nemesis but is it a straight EPROM swap? I guess some sockets may need replacing? Is a modded set of Nemesis binaries required or will any set work?

That's also a lot quicker and easier than using the Arduino method - the latter works very well but it's of course a lot easier to plug in a board and unplug it rather than going through the process of the Arduino desuicide method with the Arduino itself and a number of wires.

I've never repaired a PGM motherboard before (have repaired plenty of other board types though), now I have one with three carts in an unknown state. Without a cart inserted the board produces a jingle, displays the PGM logo and enters the test menu. I have three carts to test, all purchased...

But who would pay such a price? The only boards which use them are CPS1 and CPS2 to the best of my knowledge and I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay such an extortionate price for just one part; people will just buy another CPS1 or CPS2 A board instead. But of course the seller presumably...

Way too expensive though and good luck finding a suitable QFP160 socket. Also, the specs on the page are wrong - the page states that it's a QFP100 - it's not, it's a QFP160.
