Convert Konami GT to Nemesis - straight EPROM swap?

I believe it's possible to convert Konami GT to Nemesis but is it a straight EPROM swap?

I guess some sockets may need replacing?

Is a modded set of Nemesis binaries required or will any set work?

not going to happen, the rom handling is totally different.
you may be able to convert a GT into Gradius though - look at the nemesis driver in mame
