Aye, no GFX Like I said this was JUST working, no hack or anything, I have no reason to believe it's scuffed. It's just mad demoralising to go from that to nothings ugh 😂

Tried 3 C-Boards (One of which being a clean 92641C-2 which was working only days ago, fairly confident that's not the problem) and 2 compatible A-Boards (1 of which I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt works, played Knights of the Round no bother) While sorting the PAL, I admit a pin chipped off...

    Unnamed CPS1 SDK

Followup: The SDK now works on Linux! Even better, it's been refactored a lot to be a lot less daft. It used to be that each project spawned it's own assembly script for assembling 68k/GFX/Z80. Now that's been solidified into global scripts that a project can call, and every project can define...

    Unnamed CPS1 SDK

Small update: finally ditched Windows and am now on Linux! The SDK will need some serious refactoring for things to go smoothly on it and Windows but hey, multiple OS support! Get hyped 👍

Just to be OBSCENELY clear, the chip ya mean is where the "sound is populated? The ridged one near Jamma In? I'm sorry I know this is probably a dumb question, just being safe haha

I don't have a multimeter, I do still have the original wires though, the guy who soldered em missed em somehow haha Gonna nip to him today and see if I can't get them done right this time, sorry again for all the bother, fingers crossed this fixes things

How the fuck?? That thing is like 3000 x something, ugh I promise I'm doing my best, the camera on this thing is pish lol https://photos.app.goo.gl/XvZw6Q4ieZXi3yPZA Looking at this, I can only assume the soldering is mangled somehow

Cleaned the sockets and reseated the PAL chip, no dice The test seems fine but maybe I'm missing something

I tried to get the things of potential interest, I'm sorry, I know it's awkward but scaling the pic down would make it basically useless Gonna clean the sockets and reseat the stuff like what was suggested, fingers crossed

Beautiful, cheers Given it a gander, everything seems to be in order on the A-board side of things (sorry for the shitty quality) I'm really stumped, idk what the issue is. For what it's worth, trying Punisher results in a RAM_ERR message

I did indeed, using a 89626A-4 A Board. Forgive me but I don't know what "Sound section is populated" is supposed to mean, I reckon that's why it doesn't work but honestly I don't know what to even look for. The wires are in the right places far as I know, it reset upon write and it hasn't...
