I had an incident on the Facebook Marketplace. I saw a listing for an arcade machine and decided to buy it. I asked the seller to send me a video showing the geometry and details.

He sent me the video. I sent him the money, and then he disappeared. PayPal refunded my money. The chat with him was not saved.

At first he asked me to transfer the money to his personal account in an Italian bank. Of course I refused and paid through PayPal with buyer protection instead. I’m not sure what he was hoping for.
