I had an incident on the Facebook Marketplace. I saw a listing for an arcade machine and decided to buy it. I asked the seller to send me a video showing the geometry and details.

He sent me the video. I sent him the money, and then he disappeared. PayPal refunded my money. The chat with him was not saved.

[Darksoft]

Can you tell where the seller was from? City? Nickname? Have you seen him selling more stuff?

[Vanark]

I remember he said Italy, Catania. Andrea Pappolardo. Like on screen shots

At first he asked me to transfer the money to his personal account in an Italian bank. Of course I refused and paid through PayPal with buyer protection instead. I’m not sure what he was hoping for.

Before this, I didn’t know that there was a topic like this on the forum. Otherwise, I would have written here right away and, of course, in more detail. What I wanted to say is that he definitely had access to the arcade machine. He also sent several videos showing exactly what I asked for.

[Darksoft]

Are these videos his or have you look to see if they are somewhere else?

[Vanark]

I haven’t checked. But it seems to me that he recorded them when I asked. Either that, or he already had videos for every possible situation

Hi everyone.
I just wanted to report a very suspicious private message I received this morning from someone who registered on the forum yesterday. He advises me to contact a forum member @crestal for my research, be careful!
Have a good day
