Today I reached them by phone at +43 5672 606 101. The nice lady checked for me and said that the emails had been received. At least that’s been confirmed now. They currently have over 1,000 inquiries regarding the postponement.
I’m a little more reassured now and have a bit more patience to wait for my money...

I also told her that it wouldn’t have hurt if they had at least informed the customers about the delay...

18 minutes after the phone call, I received an email confirming the cancellation, and the money should be back in my account within the next few days.

Probably not needed anymore but anybody considering giving them money be warned. I finally got my money back and not through plaion but through a paypal case decided in my favor (plaion simply didn't react at all). All they ever did was a single mail two weeks after my cancellation confirming my cancellation, mentioning that i hadn't received my money back yet ("...your payment has not yet been refunded.") and then silence till today when paypal finally returned my money.

I have had my refund notice today after 5 weeks or so is it now? I do still hope this makes it to the final product and will buy again next year. Just not worth the risk over reward at this point with such a lengthy delay.

Edit: I deleted my post. Even if my arguments are more than justified, it doesn't help anybody spreading more negative "truths" than there already is.

I still have hope and want it to succeed even if I'm not interesed. I'm good with what I have.

im of the same thought process. I would really like to have that from new feeling but im stacked with neo and mvs as it is. Just a tick box in all honesty.

I've heard that SNK hired 2D artists. But don't take my word for that.
Imagine a 4GBit AOF4 with smooth controls. Like dwarfing 3rd Strike in terms of animations. I also very much like the "3D fighter controls" approach of AOF3 reminding me a bit of Virtua Fighter.
