Did anyone attempt to blindly replace the usual RAM? IC16,18,20,22? I got two of these revisions and they do not boot. Fans spin, voltage is there.

Definitly check the voltages first. N2 is possibly dead because of overvolting it.

I have the PCB, the Radio Control with Display and the PCB without any wires. I had a look at the schematics but I don't know how the 14 Pin display connector is being accessed by the Main PCB. So if anyone could help me figure it out who owns one of these machines I would be very thankful...

The problem is that the board didn't start without the Afterburner Test roms. I'll buy a desoldering iron soon and will give it another shot. Thanks for your input! Don't hesitate to add more :)

Bumping this. I went with the smartypi solution as I hadn't had the tools too do excessive ic removal. It works fine now BUT: The sound is heavily distorted via the speakers. As soon as any bass kicks in its distortion city. Sound through the headphone jack is fine. I recapped the sound amp...
