Looks pretty much perfect, I bought brand new monitors from the factory with worse geometry than that. I recall the guy at Hantarex saying “ what’s up with that it’s just a little bit out!” He then put it on the bench and adjusted the yoke a smidge.

Leaving the door open would make no difference.

Sorry it’s Japan version, although most of the text is in English including all the settings which is odd. But defiantly says Japan version on start up.

Do you have a wide, narrow jumper on the chassis PCB. It may be worth trying out in narrow. Great image apart from that.

You need to shift the whole image to the left, then narrow the width. There should be pots on the chassis to do both.

Are the MS8 and MS9 chassis interchangeable between tubes? Did you try just swapping the chassis first. I have a MS8 chassis which I tested on a MS9 tube and it seemed fine, in focus, colours correct etc.

I don’t think the chips are the issue it’s the voltage feeding those chips. The cheap Chinese carts have bad or no voltage regulation which could.. cause them to stop working.

Have you tried turning off those switches marked BUTTON 4/5 and BUTTON 6 ? Actually I think those are in the right position.. so not sure.🤔
