Hmm, that is weird. Jumpers are set correctly. LEDs lighting up slightly is no problem but it seems like four of the LEDs have almost full intensity. I'll need to see if I have a 04 myself and get back to you on that.

Ehm, all these issues are mister issues and not expander issues really. In the end the expander is a rather "dumb" device that only handles i/o, it doesn't affect anything running on the mister.

X68000 mostly switches between 15-31KHz. I think it defaults to 31KHz. I'm not sure how the mister handles it when you start some games directly though. Some games you switch resolution in menus which can be a headache if your monitor can't handle 31KHz. Some games won't even work properly on...

Thanks for the tip I just changed the case fan on mine. A tip though is that you can actually push the pins out of the connectors and just swap them over.

I think it has more to do with the daughterboards than the dimms. I upgraded a dimmboard to 4.03, black screen, burned 3.17 and everything worked. Took a netdimm daughter board and put on, netbooted and installed 4.01 and everything worked. Put the non netdimm daughter board back and black screen.
