Do you have a MAK strike/Supergun for jamma - Just connect it to the jamma connector, which should be enough to power up that i/o You did test your HAT with he Naomi Setup -> Test JVS, yes? :)

You don't need to boot a game to check the JVS connection. Do you have any other JVS I/O you can test with?

I am using the 485 converter as well. No problem with it. Does your naomi, within the setup - JVS test menu, see the JVS pcb/connection? - maybe your naomi is faulty?
