What's new

Pre-built SD for 1.0.0-RC1 for use with SD2PSX/PSXMemcardGen2

To play these 2x6 games on CD, you must have a powerful DVD drive.

It looks like the cd images are incorrect in some way but the DVDs are fine.
Hi! :)

Yes, that's exactly it.

CD/DVD burning is an art Audiophile obliges :saint:

Here's Bloody Roar 3 with Cue + .bin file, with MD5 inserted in a folder and compressed.

https://mega.nz/folder/Zh5jHRAK#uRy6dAOqmwROA9iimy4IeA

I burned 10 new CD RWs for testing.^^

I use x1/x4 CD-RWs because the recording layer is of better quality, both for burning and for storage over time. I have no problems.:saint:

Forget the Verbatim brand, it's ULTRAAA Big Shiit .<XX/

I've been using Nero Linux Burning Rom for 17 years with a 20-year-old IDE DVD burner. My current PC's motherboard, the " GA-EX58-EXTREME " :saint:has an IDE connector.

Forget the IDE/SATA adapter, it's real crap; too much data loss. And I don't trust the quality of current SATA and USB DVD Writer either :whistling:

I can tell you that this entire list of official CD/DVD drives is rubbish; everything is of poor quality, except perhaps the Sony DW-U10A, a DVD Writer with an 8MB buffer to prevent read and write errors.

I've owned the Namco System 246 since 2004 and I know how it behaves with drives.:)

I can tell you that with the original Samsung SD-M1802 with a 512KB buffer, it's a disaster.X/

In the opening sequence of Tekken 4, Heihachi Mishima always has his lips open, even though his voice is muted; there's a major synchronization problem, a problem with the drive's buffer.:S

So I recommend quality IDE CD/DVD burners from the 2000s/2008s (not Samsung, LG, Liteon, etc.).
As for the rest, I'll let you be the judge.:saint:

Just tested and works perfectly on LG-GDR-4164B.

Please, can someone upload the file again? The file is no longer available. :(

You can find the dumps on Defor pinned post

I got super DBZ from there
A lot of those if defor's archive.org collection don't boot I would recommend converting them from their CHD files from the mame collection but even then a lot of games don't work people did a lot of work dumping stuff for their private collections.
but most of stuff public has some problems and I don't know where to begin to help fix all of it and I do know that not all my dongles work in this collection because of the above mentioned things but most do.
if anyone has proper dongles and proper dumps I will gladly update my collection and make it public if you find one that doesn't work and you're willing to provide a dump that does work

Hi! :)
I have a lot of original Namco games that I bought well before 2010, but they're all Japanese titles. :saint:

For hard drives, DVDs, or CDs, I can create a clean dump; for HDD versions, I use the dd command.
CHDMAN is too complicated.

I did this back in the day for Fate/Unlimited Codes and Cobra the Arcade because I was afraid it would break, as hard drives are very poor quality, especially Cobra the Arcade. It's low-quality MAXTOR.

I still have this version of Time Crisis 3 I’ve been meaning to dump with my PS3 MC adapter, I’ll find some time to do it and post it somewhere

Thanks this is awesome, it worked fine on 256 with a shaved sd2psx. I'll need to make a cheat sheet of what games are on what card/channel. Unfortunately I've discovered I got no sound on my 256 I need to figure out.
dumb question, but how much did you actually shave off for it to fit?

I am not the one who you are quoting, but i did the same. I shaved of the complete beveled edge around the display and made it the same level as the rest of the module. Looks ugly but works. (we are are talking about the bitfux sd2psx arent we? :D) do you need photos?
