Largely adjusted vertical hold until the picture started to roll and become a squished mess. Doesn't seem like the picture moves at all when V.Hold is adjusted minorly.

I tried adjusting the 50/60 hz pot but it doesn't seem to move the picture vertically any noticeable distance. When rotated too much, it just seems to cause the picture to fold over on itself.

It lifts up. It's just held in by a small lip that is overcome easily with force outwards applied by a flathead driver. The wire is just held in there by friction it seems and slides right out. Thanks! Pic:

That was it! Turned the 50/60Hz pot clockwise about 1/4 of a turn and the bright bar went away like magic. Also fixed the scanline separation towards the top. Thanks!
