It was a double take for me, I have a new great cab and a new friend, I can only concur with the "great dude". Since you seem to know the cab pretty well, this is a kiwi version and the side panels are plain red, I haven't seen any trace of glue or faded red, which leads me to think it never had...

Thanks for the welcome @djsheep. To be fair, it's probably the only Australian Neo Geo cab in Europe. Well, those MCA sticks are very different from the japanese ones I'm used to, not as precise but I quite like the handling. They remind me of our old Euro cabs.
